Egg-cellent Easter Week

Hop on down to spend the holiday with your family at YMCA Trout Lodge this Easter. We’ll have traditional Egg dying, Easter Egg Hunts and a non-denominational Sunday Service. There will even be a visit from your favorite furry friend, the Easter Bunny!
Petting Zoo
Miller’s Petting Zoo will be visiting Trout Lodge with the largest variety of farm animals in the industry. They breed and hand raise most of the animals, ensuring tame, friendly, healthy animals. A Miniature Donkey, Young Llamas, Baby Goats, Jacob Lambs, Flemish Giant Rabbits, Baby Pot Belly Pigs, Ducks and Ducklings, Chickens and Chicks, Geese and Goslings, and a Baby Jersey Calf.
Jellybean Guessing Game
Can you guess how many jellybeans are in the candy jar? The jar will be at the Front Desk on Friday and Saturday. The guest who comes closest to guessing the exact number of jellybeans in the jar wins a chocolate bunny!
The Golden Egg
Are you up for our traditional Easter Challenge? Hidden somewhere on the property is a special golden egg. The guest who finds the golden egg will receive a free visit for Easter Weekend 2013 for two adults and two children. When you find it claim your gift certificate at the Front Desk! Hints will be posted in the 4th Floor Lobby throughout the weekend. Good Luck!
Egg Dying and Decorating
Easter Weekend wouldn’t be complete without decorating and dying hard-boiled Easter eggs. Meet our Trout Lodge Program Specialist at the Hawkins Pavilion. Limit two eggs per guest. Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Moonlight Egg Hunt
Who says egg hunts are just for the little guys? This massive egg hunt is only for ages 12 and over. Everyone is encouraged to bring a flashlight. Located at the Mini Golf Course.
Egg Hunt
It wouldn’t be an Easter morning without an Egg Hunt for the little guys. Located in three designated spots on the grounds according to age:
Ages: 1-4 -- Activities Field
Ages: 5-8 – Playground
Ages 9-12 – Mini Golf Course
Princess the Clown
On Saturday, Trout Lodge guests' favorite, Princess the Clown will be face painting and making balloon animals.
Pictures with the Easter Bunny
Have a family picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Pictures will be available shortly after they have been taken. One picture is free and any additional photos may be purchased for a small fee. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Sunday Sunrise Service
Celebrate Easter Sunday with a non-denominational morning service. The service will be held in the Walker Chapel at 6:30 a.m., and shuttles will be available from the 4th Floor Lobby.
Night Hikes
It's hiking with a twist. In addition to hiking at night, there will be "sensory challenges" along the way.
Barn Dance - $1 per person for guests
Join the ranch staff at the Triangle Y barn for some old fashioned line dancing on Tuesday evening.
Field Games
Not into dancing, meet us at the activity field on Tuesday evenings for kickball, flag-football, wiffleball, or capture the flag.
Fireworks
A fabulous fireworks display over Sunnen Lake every Wednesday night during Spring Break!
Evening Campfires
Meet our Program Staff on Wednesday and Friday evenings at the Coker Fire Ring for S'mores, Skits & Songs!
Karaoke with Coni Le
Country and Gospel recording artist, Coni Le will be hosting Karaoke on Thursday nights during Spring Break!
Carnival Games
Every Sunday during Spring Break, snacks, carnival games and prizes.
