Enjoy Fat Tuesday the family-friendly way at YMCA Trout Lodge. King Cake, Creole traditions and Mardi Gras fun that’s appropriate for all members of your family! The celebration culminates with our very own YMCA Trout Lodge Mardi Gras Parade.

King Cake
A Mardi Gras party wouldn't be a Mardi Gras party without a King Cake. The guest who finds the baby in the King Cake will be crowned King or Queen at the Mardi Gras Carnival on Saturday Evening!
Mardi Gras Mask-Making
It’s traditional to wear a mask on Mardi Gras Day. Decorate your mask in the Mardi Gras theme with sequins, feathers and dramatic colors. Keep your mask as a souvenir, or wear it to the Mardi Gras Carnival tonight. Remember the mask is to hide your identity, so let your imagination run wild.
Mardi Gras Parade
In classic Mardi Gras tradition we will have our very own family-friendly Trout Lodge Parade. Find a seat near the Trout Lodge Waterfront, and get ready for some classic Mardi Gras fun!
Mardi Gras Carnival
Bring your mask to our Mardi Gras Carnival! Classic carnival games meet Mardi Gras tradition for our Trout Lodge Evening Program. We will crown the King or Queen of our Mardi Gras Weekend, and decide the winner of our Mask-Making contest.
