Outdoor Education Rates

YMCA Camp Lakewood offers many different opportunities for your group, whether you desire an educational experience, a spiritual retreat, or an enjoyable time together in the outdoors. Our goal is to deliver programs that suit your group, so each program is customized to fit individual group's needs.

Below you will find many different "experiences." These descriptions will help you decide how long to stay, what you would like to do, and how we can assist in accomplishing the goals you have for your group.

All of our packages, except for the Programme a la Carte, include a large quantity of programming.

Unless otherwise noted, the rates include meals from arrival day lunch to departure day lunch, lodging (dorm-style Camp Lakewood cabins) and full programming, except for ranch activities.

Day Trip Experience

Our one-day experience (6-8 hours of activities) includes one high adventure climb and programming based on your group's goals.

$35/participant (lunch provided)

2-Day/1-Night Experience

Our two-day experience is action-packed, with activities beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the first day and ending at 1:00 p.m. on the second day. This experience includes a high adventure climb, approximately 12 hours of programming, and an evening program designed to meet your group's needs. These opportunities offer the group time to find solutions, build self-esteem, discover new abilities, and learn about the outdoors.

Includes a 1-night stay with four meals.
$80/participant

Weekend Experience

Our weekend experience offers you the opportunity to do some of your own organizational programming, as well as participate in some of the favorite activities at Camp Lakewood. We provide an evening program on either Friday or Saturday night. Saturday is a full day of programming based on your requests. Saturday evening, per request, a meeting room and field are provided for your own programming. On Sunday, you can direct your own program or we can provide additional recreational activities.

Includes a 2-night stay with five meals.
$115/participant (includes 5 consecutive meals of your choice).

3-Day/2-Night Experience

This is an exciting three days beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the first day and ending at 1 p.m. on the third day. All activities can be tailored to meet your needs and can focus on nature- or science-based education, building group unity and breaking up cliques, promoting friendships and acceptance of diversity, or an exciting combination of those activities. We include two engaging evening programs.

Includes a 2-night stay with seven meals.
$139/participant

4-Day/3-Night Experience OR 5-Day/4-Night Experience

$180/participant OR $255/participant, respecitively

Longer programs are a great way to allow the great outdoors to work its magic. We have many programs that build on each other to make extended stays extremely valuable. Longer stays include additional climbs and many more opportunities to build friendships and explore the environment.

Programme a la Carte

If your group wishes to have meetings, spend time on our hiking trails, or organize your own programs, you may opt for the Programme a la Carte. This experience allows you to select a few activities to augment programs you are designing for yourself. this is ideal for scout troops who are working on badges, church groups who have confirmation classes, or groups who desire a low level of programming from YMCA staff. Programme a la Carte offers a reduced rate which covers meals and lodging, but any activity is available and carries an additional fee.

Includes lodging (dorm-style Camp Lakewood cabins) & 3 meals. If you book for one night only on a weekend (Friday or Saturday), the rate is $49/participant/night.
