Not quite ready to get back into the swing of things? Take one last swing on our Rope Swing at the YMCA Trout Lodge Waterfront before you have to swing back into the school year.

Whether you want to prep for some back to school fun with our Backpack Relay Race or you’d rather hold on to summer at our closing campfire – there is something for everyone!

Report Card
Stop by the Front Desk to get your report card for this weekend. Use it to record the different activities that you do during your stay as well as how well you do at each of those activities.

Coloring Contest
Are you a Monet in the making? Gear up for your fall art classes with our YMCA Trout Lodge Back to School Coloring Contest. When finished, turn your coloring page into the Front Desk with your name and room number for a chance to win a “back to school bash basket”. The winning picture will be posted at breakfast on Sunday!

Backpack Relay
Get ready for the dash to the school bus in the morning with a Back Pack Relay Race. Bring your friends and family and set a goal for your team or challenge another!

DJ Dance Party
Grove to the music mix and dance your cares away before its back to school for the fall! We’ll play music from all different genres that you are bound to love and want to move your feet to.

Campfire
Join our staff at the Coker Fire Circle for some silly songs and zany skits that will get you up out of your seat laughing. This is the last campfire of summer so be prepared for a memorable event. Participants will even get a tasty s’more at the end!

Fireworks
What a better way to celebrate the end of summer than with a fabulous fireworks show? Watch from your room or meet us on the back deck of Trout Lodge as you watch in awe. Fireworks Cruises will be available for $1, but space is limited so please sign up at the Country Store.
