YMCA Trout Lodge & Camp Lakewood will put Christian principles into...

Alexandra Wolf

Nickname: Bubbles
Hometown: St. Louis, MO
Age: 18
University: I just graduated from Affton High School and will be attending either University of Missouri - Columbia or University of Central Missouri in the fall.
Major: I'm still deciding on Broadcast Journalism, Mathematics, Athletic Training/Physical Therapy, or Recreation.
How long I've been at Lakewood: 2nd year as a counselor and I was a camper for nine years and participated in the LDP and CIT programs.
How long I've been at any camp: 17th year
Sports/Hobbies: At school I am involved in theater, cheerleading, track, varsity sports club, student council, FBLA, and A+ tutoring. I also love to play any sport. My two favorite are football and lacrosse! I also enjoy playing guitar and spending time with the people I love!
Why I chose to work at Lakewood this summer: When I was a camper at Lakewood every summer I wanted to stay and never leave and I looked up to my counselors so much. I just want to be able to give that back to my campers!
My dream job: Anything that involves music or Camp Lakewood.
Future career: I'm hoping to be in broadcasting. I was the anchor for Cougar News at my high school.
How I chose my nickname: When I was 11-years-old at camp as a Dragon (now known as Explorers), I was washing my hands and I started blowing a bubble with the soap, so I was called bubbles at camp ever since!
The best part about camp/kids: One of the best things about the campers is when you know they are having an awesome time and wanting to come back next year.
One thing I hope to experience this summer is: I would love to experience something new this summer. I am looking forward to it!
One thing children will remember most about me: Either the fact that I smile way too much or love bursting out into random songs at any time!
My favorite food, animal, song, book or movie: My favorite animal is a turtle because they are just so cute and my favorite color is green.
