How long I've been at Lakewood: 1st year
Sports/Hobbies: In high school I played softball. In college I am a member of the Truman Bullets Rugby team.
Why I chose to work at Lakewood this summer: I have heard amazing things about it from both staff and campers.
My dream job: Special Education teacher for middle school students. The reason I want to work with middle school students is because they get to go to 6th grade camp!
How I chose my nickname: I'm a rugby player. Rugby is something that is really important to me - we are a family.
The best part about camp/kids: Meeting all of the different types of kids!
One thing I hope to experience this summer is: FUN, FUN, FUN!!
One thing children will remember most about me: I have an uncontrollable laugh. Once I start, I can't stop laughing.
My favorite food, animal, song, book or movie: Manatees are my favorite animals because they are so cute and I am jealous of how lazy they can be. My favorite movie is "Mean Girls," because the stereotypes are funny and unrealistic.
A quote or phrase that best represents me: "No one is free when others are oppressed."
