Caroline Howard

Camp Name: Squirt

My name is Caroline Howard, but since 2006 every summer my name has been Squirt. This summer I am serving as the Art & Crafts Director at Camp Lakewood.

During the off-season I attend the University of Kansas, and I will be starting my junior year there this fall. I am double majoring in Interior Design and Industrial Design with a double minor in Business and Art History.

I began coming to camp as an explorer in 2000, and I had two such incredible counselors, Ivy and Snoochie, that I decided that first year, that I wanted to be a counselor too.

In 2004 I passed the LDP program. My first year on staff I was a Raptors counselor, and last year I was counselor for Raptors, Explorers, and East Camp.

I have absolutely loved being a counselor and I am so excited for this next step in my camp adventure. I cannot wait to see you all this summer!
