Camp Name: Corndog
My name is Chris Day, but your child will know me as Corndog. This is my fifth summer at Camp Lakewood, and my third summer as a counselor.
I first came to camp in 2005, and it was so awesome that I had to come back again the next summer, and the next, and the next…
I just finished my sophomore year at William Jewell College, where I am majoring in physics. I plan to go to graduate school to get an engineering degree so that I can work as a mechanical engineer once I have to get a real job.
My favorite part about working at YMCA Camp Lakewood is seeing the positive impact camp has on people and being able to contribute to it. I’m looking forward to a great summer with all my campers, and I can’t wait to see you.
