Danielle Gunter

Nickname: Daytona
Hometown: St. Albans, WV
Age: 21
University: Evangel University-Missouri
Major: Psychology/Social Work
How long I've been at Lakewood: First year
Sports/Hobbies: I enjoy football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, singing and photography.
Why I chose to work at Lakewood this summer: It seemed like a great place to work! A fun environment, lots of people and being in a busy workplace sounded fun.
My dream job: I want to work with kids/teens/young adults.
Future career: Hopefully a psychology or counselor! I want to work somewhere where I am always helping people.
How I chose my nickname: My friend once told me that my driving reminded them of the Daytona 500, so that's how I got my name.
The best part about camp/kids: The fun, positive and always active environment. Camp is a place where the kids can be kids and the adults can be kids again!
One thing I hope to experience this summer is: I want to be able to influence a child in a great, positive way. I want to see children's lives be touched and changed.
One thing children will remember most about me: I love to be LOUD and laugh!
My favorite food, animal, song, book or movie: I love Mexican food! I love rock music and pop music, and my favorite animals are dogs.
A quote or phrase that best represents me: "If I couldn't laugh, I would go crazy!"
