Emily Anderson

Nickname: Awesome the Ninja
Hometown: Columbus, IN
Age: 20
University: University of Missouri
Major: Communications/Film
How long I've been at Lakewood: 3rd year as counselor, 4 years total
Sports/Hobbies: Soccer, cricket, film, reading, knitting, juggling.
Why I chose to work at Lakewood this summer: I have loved Lakewood since I was a CIT. I really don't know what else I would do!
My dream job: To write for Saturday Night Live or work in film editing.
How I chose my nickname: My nickname was given to me by my CIT counselors after our opening campfire skit in which I was dressed as a ninja and ran around yelling, "I'm awesome!"
The best part about camp/kids: The stories and friends you take away. I have met my best friends at camp and wouldn't trade the experiences we've had for the world.
One thing I hope to experience this summer is: I hope to have some great paint wars and fun times on the lake.
My favorite food, animal, song, book or movie: My favorite food is cake. Favorite movies are, "The Bicycle Thieves," "Across the Universe," and "Mean Girls."
A quote or phrase that best represents me: Go big or go home.
