Julie Krisch

Nickname: Yankee
Hometown: Longhorne, PA
Age: 20
University: Evangel University
Major: Recreation
How long I've been at Lakewood: First year
Sports/Hobbies: Cheerleading, swimming, hiking/backpacking, canoeing
Why I chose to work at Lakewood this summer: The internship they offer is phenomenal, the facility is beautiful and the camp itself has an amazing reputation.
My dream job: Traveling around the world, writing reviews about outdoor gear.
Future career: Probably an aquatics director
How I chose my nickname: I'm from Pennsylvania and my friends from the south call me a yankee.
The best part about camp/kids: The energy and excitement of being outdoors
One thing I hope to experience this summer is: Memories and friendships that will last a lifetime
My favorite food, animal, song, book or movie: My favorite food is chicken--any type because there are so many different ways to prepare it. My favorite movie is Ferris Bueler's Day Off because I always wanted to have a day off like that.
A quote or phrase that best represents me: "Summer afternoon, summer afternoon, to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language." -Henry James
