How long I've been at Lakewood: 8 years as a camper, first year as a counselor
Sports/Hobbies: I enjoy photography, skiing, working out, windsurfing, surfing, canoe trips, float trips, and camping.
Why I chose to work at Lakewood this summer? I've been going to camp since I was about 9 or 10 years old and it has always been my favorite place to go. I haven't been to camp for the past two summers because I couldn't work the whole summer, but this year I can and I'm so excited!
What I would like my future career to be: I want to be a high school history teacher.
How I chose my nickname: After getting bitten by a copperhead, everyone said I should have a nickname that had something to do with the experience.
The best part about camp/kids is: Camp is a place where you can be yourself and be crazy. I love the friendships I have made at camp. I met my roommate at camp years ago.
One thing I hope to experience this summer is: Watching a child grow and experience new things. Camp has an amazing atmosphere, and when I was growing up, I always felt like a different person when I returned home. I think camp made me a better person and helped shape who I am today.
One thing children will remember most about me: Probably my smile or goofy attitude.
