New Year’s Resolutions Happy new year! The dawning of a new calendar year is traditionally a time when everyone makes new, refreshing promises in the hopes of a better year. Otherwise known as: New Year’s Resolutions. New year’s resolutions are a funny thing. They creep up on us at the end of the year and demand big changes from us in the aftermath of the most stressful time of year (the holidays). So it seems like attempting to make major life adjustments in the glow of this exhaustion is just a recipe for failure and frustration. If we try to take on too much at once, resolutions can become this list of all the things we don’t like about ourselves—all the things we want to change. But there’s good news. Not every improvement has to be made in January. It’s a new YEARs resolution. You have until 2017 to get it right. An entire year! So look ahead. Fill up your calendar now with things that are the most important to you. Use the energy of New Years to plan out a year that keeps your resolutions! All the way to next January!
