Thanksgiving at Trout Lodge

It's been awhile since we've updated our blog here at Trout Lodge and Camp Lakewood.

With the holidays coming up, I wanted to remind you about our family holidays at Trout Lodge. With Halloween behind us, the holidays are almost here!

Did you know that the YMCA has a motto? We do. Here's what it is:

We take building strong families to a whole new level at Trout Lodge, and there are few times during the year when that's as apparent as it is during the holidays.

How many hours do you spend preparing for and cleaning up after your family's Thanksgiving meal? Imagine spending those hours on a scavenger hunt with your kids or challenging other families in Turkey Trivia while we set the table and wash the dishes.

How about the day after Thanksgiving, when throngs of people crowd into the malls? What if you were to spend that Friday with your kids, playing flag football or going to a teddy bear tea party?
