Whisk your sweetheart away for this year’s adults-only Valentine’s Day Weekend.

This romantic weekend isn’t limited to the lovely dinner for two that you’ll share overlooking beautiful Sunnen Lake. You’ll also have the opportunity to taste local wines, take a couple’s cooking class, and enjoy a cozy carriage ride.

Find out how well you know each other by playing our couple’s games, and kick up your heels to music by St. Louis band Mirage.

We’ll offer a food and wine pairing, massages, and manicures as well, so don’t miss this truly unique opportunity to spend Valentine’s Day relaxing with the person who means the most to you.

Lilies will be provided by Sinclair Florist, and one large lily bouquet will be awarded to the winners of the Newlywed Game.

Guest Rooms are just $145 per couple per night or $290 for the weekend.

Double occupancy Cabin rates are $175 per couple per night or $350 for the weekend in a Lake View or Forest View Cabin.

Traveling with Friends?
Lake View and Forest View Cabins have two separate bedrooms. Rates for quad occupancy (two couples sharing one cabin) are $145 per couple per night or $290 for the weekend.

Mirage Band
Mirage is a five piece band focused on providing professional musical entertainment appealing to diverse audiences at a competitive price with customer satisfaction as our number one priority. Mirage has performed at the Edward Jones Dome (pre-game for the St. Louis Rams), at countless country clubs and hotels, at Six Flags Over Mid America, at every imaginable banquet center, and at private house parties. Mirage entertains those that are young and those young at heart.

Mirage includes keyboards/saxophone, bass and rhythm guitars, drums and a dynamic female vocalist, Mirage’s musicians are diversed, with all members contributing vocally, adding a full rich sound not found in all bands. Mirage has also developed a sound system that provides unprecedented control over the volume of their live performances.

Dave Gant
Dave Gant has been in the wine business for over 10 years. Starting with his successful private wine distributorship, "Gant Wine Central", Dave has educated and brought wine to people all over Missouri.

Dave is currently a part owner of 3T Vines, a wine wholesale company in St. Louis that brings in niche California vineyards that would generally never make it to St. Louis.

His partnership with the YMCA Trout Lodge goes back over 13 years when he started doing wine tastings for the Valentines Day and Womens Wellness weekend.

Dave's humorous style and ability to put complicated wine terms into manageable language have made his wine tastings a mainstay at Trout Lodge.

Darcie Star
Darcie began dancing at the age of three. Later she enhanced her study with gymnastics and cheerleading then began Ballroom at 19 with Arthur Murrays School of Dance. Darcie has danced, taught and performed in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Toronto, Sydney Australia and Sendai, Japan as well as all over the midwest.

Darcie received her BFA in dance and choreography from Webster University and is enjoying ownership of her second Ballroom Dance Studio. She teaches dance and pilates at Washington University and Meramec community college and is a featured artist with The Club at Chesterfield and Florissant Community center. She has professionally choreographed musical theatre, and ran her own professional dance theatre for four years. She has taught over 2,000 people to dance.

Choose from the tantalizing Tango, the romantic Rumba, the sizzling salsa or opt for a traditional Swing, Fox Trot or Waltz. $35 for 45 minutes of fun, romance and dancing, payable directly to Darcie.
