Golf Tournament Sends 65 Kids to Camp Lakewood

65 kids will be sent to YMCA Camp Lakewood this summer on full scholarship as a result of the 18th Annual YMCA of the Ozarks charity golf tournament held on Monday, May 24th at the Fourché Valley Golf Club in Potosi, Missouri.

The winning team at the tournament was made up of Earl Walker, Lanny Lamont, Mike O’Toole, and Don Douglas. The second place team was made up of Dave DeGonia, Rick DeGonia, Jim Politte and Jerry Courtway. The putting contest winner was Jack Hennessey, and the Straightest Drive contest was won by Ron Koening.

Carol Bender won the Women’s Longest Drive competition, while Rich Marsoun won the Men’s Longest Drive. Mike Huegerich won the “Closest to the Pin #4” competition, and Ken Kadel won the “Closest to the Pin #13”.
