Spring in the Ozarks means birds, plants, and beautiful night skies! Awaken your senses when you experience the unique sights, sounds and smells associated with an Ozark spring. Each day will provide multiple opportunities to expand or renew your knowledge of birds, plants and animals in the exceptional natural areas around the lodge. Short guided walks offer a chance to build wildflower and tree identification skills. Bring your binoculars for early morning wildlife and bird quests! Learn basic astronomy and apply the knowledge to an evening of stargazing. You may even catch an evening glimpse of our friends - the insect-eating bats. Participants should be able to walk up to one mile on hiking trails with level to moderate inclines. (#1625)
