Colorado Adventure

Ages 14-17

Campers will spend their first two days learning the skills they will need later in the program: back country travel, orienteering, campsite logistics, knot tying and group dynamics. The group will then travel to YMCA Camp Shady Brook in Deckers, Colorado. These rangers will backpack in the Rocky Mountains, go rock climbing, and white water rafting, while using Camp Shady Brook as a base camp. This trip is limited to eight campers and will have four staff members as trip leaders.
