The Rope Swing
Yesterday I had the pleasure of going off the rope swing at the Trout Lodge waterfront. To sum up my experience in one word: AWESOME.
The rope swing was brought to us by our very own TEAM Works department in 2007. Look up "versatility" in the dictionary, and you'll find a picture of them.
The platform before swinging into the air is about five feet off the water, depending on the water level on any given day. The peak of your swing is anywhere from six to twelve feet high. It's a ton of fun. There is a lifeguard who runs the entire activity, so you're perfectly safe too.
I have to admit, the little kids were way better than me at going off this thing. I admire their skill.
Other fun activities to do at the Trout Lodge waterfront include a waterslide, sailing, wind surfing, canoeing, paddle boating, funyaking, a row boat and, of course, swimming.
