Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) are five to six-day themed programs which are hosted by and held at Trout Lodge, and include activities for every ability, from easy to challenging. Rates always include lodging, meals and scheduled activities.
Road Scholar educational adventures are created by Elderhostel, the not-for-profit world leader in lifelong learning since 1975. To participate in Road Scholar programs at Trout Lodge, you must register with Road Scholar in one of two ways:
- By Phone: 877-426-8056
- Online: www.roadscholar.org (each adventure has a program code which you will find in the events calendar or program guide)
Some of these programs include touring famous Bonne Terre Mine and underground lake, hiking, visiting local parks, canoeing, “camp for adults” and so much more. Check out our Adult Program Guide for a complete list of upcoming programs.
