Summer Days at Trout Lodge
Everyday is an adventure at YMCA Trout Lodge!
Enjoy great outdoor activities, and family fun themed programs!
Trout Lodge themed weeks and weekends create opportunities for special activities, games, and education, in addition to our 40+ recreational or high adventure activities that we provide year round for families. These themed activities help families get out and play together, meet other families, and build life-long friendships. That’s why visits to Trout Lodge continue to be a tradition among so many families!
DAILY SUMMER THEMES:
Monday – Around the World Day
Challenge other families in Trout Lodge Family Olympics. Some of the events include relay races, potato sack races, funyak races, tug of war and more!
Tuesday – Western Day
Kick up your heels at a barn dance with the Triangle Y Ranch Wranglers (small fee applies). Then head down to the Campfire ring for a cowboy campfire complete with S'mores and songs.
Wednesday – Super Hero Day
Get out your favorite super hero costume and test your super skills with the family game night favorite, Minute to Win it.
Then show us your super hero moves as we dance the night away!
Thursday – Pirate Day
Participate in an all Trout Lodge game of Gold Rush! Move around with your family collecting as much “gold” as possible. Watch out for the bad pirates who will steal your gold. Never fear, the good pirates will help protect you!
Friday – Under the Stars
Enjoy a night under the stars. Sing songs and enjoy s'mores at the campfire, learn about astronomy, experience a night hike and relax while watching a movie under the stars.
Saturday – Luau Beach Party
What's better than an evening on the beach? How about a beach Luau, complete with fire, limbo, games, dancing, sno cones, and more!
Sunday - Sports Fan Day
Show off your favorite team colors while competing in Trout Lodge sporting events like flag football, medic ball and more!
