Pines Zip

Pine's Zip is a great option if you want to try zip lining for the first time during your family's Trout Lodge getaway.

Our Trout Lodge TEAM Works staff will help you into a harness and a helmet, and our belay (safety rope) system will keep you safe as you climb and zip.

You'll use large pegs as hand holds and foot holds as you climb the 35-foot tall Pines Pole. At the top of Pines Pole, a TEAM Works Program Specialist will help you onto a platform, where they'll hook you up to Pines Zip.

When you're ready, you'll jump from the Pines Pole platform and zip down the 250-foot Pines Zip 35 feet above the ground.

When you've completed your zip, you'll use a ladder to climb down from the zip line as you race back Pine's Pole and your cheering family and friends.

Sign your family up for Pines Zip at the Waterwheel Country Store when you arrive at Trout Lodge, or call us a few days in advance a 1-888-FUN-YMCA.

Want to try other zip lines while you're at Trout Lodge? How about the Moonlight Zip?
