Winter Camp at YMCA Camp Lakewood
Winter 2012 dates coming soon!
Kids look forward to having a few days off of school over winter break so that they can stay up a little later, have a break from homework, and spend time playing with their friends. If you're a parent who doesn't have as much time off work during the holidays as your kids have off school, temporary childcare might be hard to find. If your kids are 7-12 years old YMCA Camp Lakewood Winter Camp is a great opportunity to spend three days with kids their own ages, participating in age-appropriate games and activities designed to foster youth development through the Y’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith. We can't promise snow, but we can promise three fun-filled days jam-packed with activities. Kids will spend time outdoors if weather permits, but if it’s too cold to be outside, there’s still plenty of space to run and play at Camp Lakewood. If your children have attended summer camp at YMCA Camp Lakewood, this is a great time for them to reconnect with their friends and counselors from summer camp. If your kids haven’t camped with us before, this will be a great opportunity for them to make new friends and get a taste for summer camping.
